We are excited to announce a scholarship program for residents of Easton, to allow them to take an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class. This scholarship program is named in honor of LT RUSSELL NEARY, who was an active member of Easton’s Fire Department and an Easton Volunteer EMS up until his line of duty death during Hurricane Sandy. This scholarship is open to any Easton resident interested in becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), who wants to volunteer with Easton Volunteer EMS upon graduation of the course.
We encourage Easton residents of all ages to apply. If you do not have an interest, please take the time to think of someone who may be interested in the EMS field and is living in Easton. Forward them this information. If your group would like a presentation on this topic please leave a message for us at EMS HQ 203-452-9595.
